the headboard of bed stead bought for her mother "Letitia Buckman Simpsen (?)
11th mo. 1827 “
There is distress to the lid of the box. Could be cleaned up and oiled or used as is. I kept it in the condition I received it in and did not disrupt any of the charm. The note is sealed into the bottom of the box. There is wax in the box. Some nail/screw heads are missing. Box is in solid condition.
