Signed bottom right corner. From the collection of Oswin H. Herb from 1899-1900 during his time at K.S.N.S. Keystone State Normal School - now known as Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Shows age appropriate discoloration + distress. Some creasing to corners. Dense cluster of sharp, Gothic church spires across the water suggest a historic settlement. This resembles early views of historic towns along the Susquehanna River. KSNS was founded in 1866, and the institution was a prominent regional teacher-training college that eventually evolved into modern-day Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
