Antique (1903) Art Nouveau Pyrography Frame.
Poker work // wood-burned. Pure Art Nouveau, defined by its fluid organic shape, asymmetric floral details, and curving lines imitating a stylized tulip or seed pod. Crafted using pyrography (Flemish Art). Intricate daffodil or narcissUS motifs were hand-etched and darkened using heated metal tools into a flat wooden blank.
1903 on back. Age appropriate distress + discoloration to frame. Missing its original backing mechanism, glass, or inset mirror. Wood patina and dark burned detailing are exceptionally well-preserved.
