Antique (1910s) Sherwin-Williams Wooden Shipping Crate.

Dating back to the early 20th century. Faded original Sherwin-Wiliams branding stamped into the wood. Features the early “Cover The Earth” Logo embossed near the lower right quadrant. Stamped text references original corporate hubs including Cleveland, Chicago, and New York. Crate is equipped with metal hinges attached to the back wall. Inside faces of the wood reveal a clean, raw grain structure.

Bottom of leather strap detached. Patina Present. Distress + discoloration to paint and box. L.M.V. painted on the bottom. Painted a distinctive slate gray/blue hue with significant surface patina + natural aging. Hinged-Lid Crate. Staining + discoloration to bottom inside of box. Previous used as a make-do egg crate. Interior features no structural dividers, offering a single open compartment. Practical Storage.
