The set is in good antique condition. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. Likely the books were read infrequently, as there are many uncut pages in the volumes. Top page edges are gilded. Beautiful quarter leather book with marbled boards and end pages. There is distress to the boards from rubbing and tops/bottoms of the board edges. The previous owner wrote “inventoried 2012” on each volume title page in pencil.
