Traditional Pattern. Sharing styling elements with patterns like the Blue Plate Special // Snowball Nine-Patch combinations. Features alternating squares : one set consists of pieced multi-colored nine-patch blocks made from a variety of vintage plaid, floral, and solid fabrics, while the alternating blocks are solid blue squares rotated 45 degrees to create a diamond lattice effect across the surface.
No Rips // Tears. One large stain and other staining throughout. Structurally Sound. Found in as-is condition. Originally From Indiana. Precise Hand-Stitching. Structed as an Irish Chain variation, specifically a Single Irish Chain set on point with pieced Nine-Patch centers. Blocks with multi-colored patterns are classic Nine-Patch blocks, made by sewing together nine smaller fabric squares. Solid blue squares are called setting blocks.
