Blue rings are made of pointed, diamond-like edges rather than standard curved rectangles,. Intersections feature a complex Star of Bethlehem or modified Ohio Star motif in soft green and yellow. Hand quilting : tiny, slightly irregular straight-line accent stitches radiating through the white center melons.
There is staining + discoloration present. No rips or tears. Great Depression Era. Specific color combination of medium “cadet” blue, soft nile green, and pastel yellow against an off-white background is highly characteristic of the late 1920s and 1930s. Found in as-is condition in Pennsylvania.
