Top Left Figure : Person in profile sitting down, eating a long coat or Robert, and holding an object - possibly a book or letter. Top-Right Figure : Person standing forward-facing, dressed in a structured suit or uniform, with hands held together at the waist. Bottom Figure : Person standing with arms crossed, wearing a dark jacket or vest over a lighter shirt and a skirt or wide trousers.
Good Vintage Condition. Double-Sided. Dated bottom right corner. Unframed. Unsigned. Artist is Grace Alice Gassert. Acquired from a portfolio collection from her time at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art in the 1930s. Bottom right corner shows a date written in pencil : Sept 28, 38 Handwritten inscription. Back of the drawing sheet shows another pencil sketch from the exact same date, featuring four distinct figures seated in chairs.
