Acquired from her portfolio collection during her time at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art in the 1930s. Rendered in Conte + Lithograph Pencil. Grace resided at the Y.W.C.A. on Arch Street in Philadelphia during this period. Features dynamic, descriptive pencil lines combined with soft graphite shading to define the contours of her clothing, hair, and the shadows around the chair.
