Back-Facing Perspective. Delicate, loose-line contour sketch focusing on the shape of the subject’s hair, shoulders, and the structural symmetry of the wooden chair. Graphite pencil on off-white sketch paper. Bottom-right corner bears a handwritten date inscription reading “Sept 22, ‘38”. Technique References. Artist was from Robesonia, Pennsylvania. Art Student.
