Related to the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (PBBH) in Boston, Massachusetts. Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (19440: Founded in 1913, it was a primary teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School. memorial hospital at Worcester (1968 + 1971): Now known as UMass Memorial Medical Center, this has long been a major teaching hospital in Central Massachusetts.
The scrapbook is made from brown paper likely paper bags that were folded. Institutions in record : Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, Memorial Hospital at Worcester, Union Hospital (Framingham), Countryside Nursing Home (Framingham). Includes cards sent by family + friends. Hospital bracelets, brochures, and other handwritten notes. At least one card has come unglued. Very cool piece of history.
