Canvas messenger-style bag with wide shoulder strap. “Herald Journal”” and “Herald American” were newspaper titles used in multiple cities : notably Syracuse Herald Journal and Chicago Herald American. Legacy newspaper names.
This was acquired in New York. There is discoloration and staining on the canvas. “Tuttle” has been written in pen on the side. Nice large front flap to cover inside contents. There is a pad in the shoulder strap. The font is nice and visible. Single Stitch.
