Classic style of handmade early Americana furniture. Handcrafted animal-form children’s chairs have been widely popular since the Victorian era, often featuring distinctive whimsical cat shapes cut directly into the wood backing and armrests.
Heavily Distressed. Crazing present on paint. Screws on one side at the bottom attaching the chair to rocker are showing - structurally sound. Likely child’s name painted on the seat that has since worn away. Hand-Painted Details. Should be used for display purposes only.
