Instead of using diamonds, this specific construction method uses an easier, beginner-friendly grid of Sawtooth Star blocks alternating diagonally with large Half-Square Triangles and solid squares to form interlocking star points.
This quilt has been loved. There is distress and discoloration throughout. Small tears where stitching has come loose. Patina + Fading present likely from being left in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. Staining and discoloration present on back. Pretty mauve color with white backing. Stitching appears to be a mix of hand + machine. Color bleeding present. Some thinning present throughout. Still a solid piece.
