Vintage Cookbook. The HRB-Singer Women’s Club was composed of the wives of employees at HRB-Singer (now part of Raytheon), a prominent defense contractor and research firm in State College that specialized in signals intelligence during the Cold War.

There is discoloration and distress to the cover of the vintage Cookbook. Spiral Bound with some of the cover separating from the teeth. There is discoloration to some pages. It seems as though some illustrations have been taped into the book. Distress to pages. While the green stylized leaf on the cover bears a striking resemblance to a cannabis leaf in a modern context, it was intended as a decorative graphic for “Party Fare” f(food and entertainment) during the 1960s.
