Likely used to hold money or cards, too thin for cigarettes. The case features detailed, hand-etched floral and scrollwork designs, divided into quadrants on the lid, surrounding a central square motif.
Heavy patina. Discoloraition and scratches present on brass. Inside, original material still intact showing distress and discoloration.
