Plaid multi-color windowpane fabric blanket. Striking red grid on reverse side. Utility Blanket. Utility coverlet assembled from Salvaged textile remnants or domestic clothing yardage. Rural American utilitarian quilting. Make-Do blanket using household scraps.
There is a large tear on one side that will need mending. Another smaller tear on the edge. Discoloration throughout. Heavy - likely another blanket inside used as batting. Machine Stitched. Likely 1920s-1960s. Depression-Era to Post-War Utility. Two Panel configuration on each side. Found in as-is condition in Pennsylvania.
