U.S. Military Canvas Duffel Bag. Sea Bag. Vietnam War Era. Issued to soldiers in the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps for transporting personal gear during deployments. Constructed from heavy-duty olive drab (OD) cotton duck canvas. Features a top-loading design with large metal grommets and a single adjustable shoulder strap. Stamped U.S. and the white paint on the bag likely was to cover the service member’s name and identification number.
