Vintage (1970s) Native American Southwestern Sterling Silver and red Coral Stud Earrings.
Smooth, oval-shaped red coral cabochons secured tightly within traditional sawtooth bezels. Stones are framed by a twisted sterling silver rope border, which is a classic design hallmark of Southwestern and Navajo-crafted silverwork. Silver posts are soldered directly to the flat reverse side of each setting. Back of the earrings stamped Sterling. Traditional Southwestern Jewelry. Stamp is cleanly struck in an arc along the edge of the flat silver backplate.
Natural Aged Patina. Structurally Sound. Good Vintage Condition. Southwest Jewelry. Post-style stud earrings with butterfly clutch backings. Found in as-is condition. originally From Arizona. Marked Sterling on back. Sterling silver twisted wire wrap tightly frames the base of the serrated bezel setting, giving the earrings depth. Most likely date to the 1970s or 1980s, a period often referred to as the peak Southwestern Jewelry Boom.
