Beautiful. Authentic. Handwoven flatweave features a classic geometric composition. Central Field : vibrant red background showcasing two large, stacked diamond medallions outlined in a stepped geometric pattern with integrated soft pink, ivory, and light blue accents. Authentic woven cream-colored fringe strands along both the top and bottom ends. Geometric Flatweave. Beautiful slit-weave flatweave construction, which is a defining hallmark of traditional handwoven Turkish kilims.
Good Vintage Condition. Age appropriate wear. Some pulling. Structurally Sound. Found in as-is condition in Pennsylvania. Borders : A wide, contrasting denim-blue frame filled with repeating horizontal and vertical geometric tribal motifs - resembling traditional hour-glass or butterfly symbols. Tiny vertical gaps - slits - where different colored yarns meet. Gives the geometric steps their crisp, sharp lines.
