Vintage (1980s) Tied Quilt.
Featuring a soft pink fabric face bound with a contrasting blue fabric border. Traditional hand-tied quilting technique. Small tufts or knots of blue yarn or thread are spaced across the entire surface. These structural ties anchor the quilt layers together securely, providing both functionality and a minimalist, charming rustic aesthetic. Over the top of the front light blue yarn or embroidery thread has been hand-tied through the layers at regular intervals.
Some small stains throughout. No rips or tears. Found in as-is condition in Pennsylvania. Front is poly-blend // back feels like a fleece type material. Machine-quilted blanket base that features dense, uniform diamond and channel stitches. Backing : solid pink fabric backing constructed from multiple panels stitched together, framed by a continuous vibrant blue binding edge. Hand-ties minimally visible.
