Vintage (1990s) Wall Hanging // Crib Quilt - Bear Paw Pattern.
Patchwork Piece. Traditional. Sometimes associated with related historical variations like the "Temperance" or "Baskets For Julie" layouts. Deep burgundy and crisp white cotton fabrics, structed as a clean four-patch design bordered by coordinating framing fabric strips. Crisp stitch-in-the-ditch quilting, where the quilting lines run directly along the structural seams of the blocks and sashing to secure the layers together.
Good Vintage Condition. Small stain and backing has discoloration where previously adhered to a wall. No rips or tears. Hand Stitched. Found in as-is condition in Pennsylvania. Each section utilizes precise half-square triangles to build out the signature "Claws" or triangular details flanking a prominent central block structure. Has plastic rings on back for hanging at each corner - missing one : 3 total.
